The Danish Center for Social Economy and the Danish Co-operative Wholesale Society (FDB) will again announce the year's best socio-economic business. At Commerce & Culture we are happy to have been invited to participate in this competition.
The goal of the award is to highlight role models for inspiration for future socio-economic entrepreneurs and to focus on how they can help to develop new welfare solutions.
The socio-economic benefits of combining business operations with a civic purpose are enormous. It is one of the ways to ensure more hands and new solutions for a future welfare society. It's prize helps to highlight this by telling the stories of the many good socio-economic enterprises and the new solutions that are the core of their work.
FDB is the main sponsor of the prize of DKK 100,000, which will be awarded at a conference December 2012 in Copenhagen.
