The knowledge accumulated during the 2 month long workshop held in summer 2010 at Cadre de Promotion pour la Formation en Photographie has now been distilled into written material.
The manual aims to serve as a reference, giving the photographers the essential know-how needed to produce and sell pictures at the global market for stock photography. Taking local conditions into account, it covers general technical subject matters as: aperture and depth of field, reciprocity and the histogram as well as matters specific to stock photography: quality standards, similar images, copyright and model releases. It also presents a guide to composition, styling and preparations. The manual is available in French as well as in English.
