Paris Photo in late 2011

Paris Photo, the world's leading event dedicated to the still image in all its forms, is set to highlight sub-Saharan African photography from Bamako to Cape Town in its 15th edition.

At Commerce & Culture we are naturally very excited about the choice of theme for this years Paris Photo exhibition. Each year Paris Photo turns the spotlight on a new foreign scene, revealing new talents through awards and competitions and offering a rich program of events and encounters. Where the 14th Paris Photo edition had its focus on Central Europe, the 15th edition will head to the African continent to highlight sub-Saharan African photography from Bamako to Cape Town. We are currently exploring opportunities to become a part of this event where one hundred international galleries and publishers will be present.
